NTR, May 3: Officials reported that a Telangana Road Transport Corporation (RTC) bus rear-ended a lorry on the National Highway in Andhra Pradesh’s NTR district on Wednesday, injuring at least 20 persons.
The bus had 42 passengers in total and was travelling from Vijayawada to Hyderabad.
The moment the accident was discovered, efforts to take out the passengers began. In addition, rescuers made a significant effort to free the bus driver who had become trapped inside of it.
Travellers who had been injured were taken right away to a nearby government hospital.
According to police, three people suffered significant injuries.
The lorry’s occupants were unharmed.
