Ranchi, Nov.25: State cabinet approved Rs 2.37 crore for National Geographic to produce documentaries on different themes of Jharkhand.
The themes include wildlife, adventure, people and culture besides pristine Jharkhand.
Cabinet co-ordination secretary Vandana Dadel informed this after the cabinet meeting, stating the purpose behind the production of documentaries to establish Jharkhand on the global map.
Other approvals given in the meeting include the winter session of the state assembly from December 16 to 22, the appointment of Pankaj Kumar as deputy collector in the wake of supreme court order given on August 19, 2021, the extension of the textile policy till September 18, 20221 and extension of services of the companies appointed to run POS machines used for public distribution system for one year.
Other approvals include the constitution of a committee to select banks for opening accounts in banks for government work purposes, coverage of green ration cardholder under Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojna besides service rules of several departments including health, family welfare and education department, consumer, food and civil supply department, women, child welfare and social security department, home department (FSL), in accordance with the rule of personnel department notified on August 8, 2021.
