Anubrata Mondal and Sukanya Mondal’s residences were raided by the CBI and ED as part of their investigation into a cattle smuggling case. Sukanya was previously absent because she was out of town before the ED.
Sukanya’s income jumped from Rs 3.2 lakh per year, as stated in the chargesheet, to crores in the financial year 2020–21. Additionally, the ED asserted that it had discovered proof of other properties registered to Sukanya and Anubrata Mondal.
