Ranchi, April 1: Under the aegis of the National Service Scheme (NSS) of Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ), the girl students were imparted training in martial arts.
During the training, the girl students were made aware of self-defence techniques in different situations. University’s NSS Coordinator Subhash Baitha and officer on special duty (OSD) J.N. Nayak, and trainer N. Ansari played a role in this exercise done for the first time in the university located in the Jharkhand capital.
The trainer trained the girls to defend themselves from the enemy bare handedly. He gave a demonstration to save in case of attack by two in any situation.
The instructor underlined the importance of the training saying in today’s time no should not depend on others for protection. He said girls should pay special attention to the training to teach lessons to molesters and work independently without fear.
