New Delhi, Aug 4: A Go First Airlines flight headed for Chandigarh was returned to Ahmedabad when a bird struck the aircraft shortly after takeoff, according to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
“Go First flight G8911 operating on August 4 from Ahmedabad to Chandigarh is diverted to Ahmedabad after bird hit,” said the DGCA.
More details are awaited.
Earlier, a Delhi-Guwahati Go First was diverted to Jaipur after the windshield of the aircraft cracked mid-air.
