Chhattisgarh CM declares Rs 11 cr financial aid for Himachal disaster victims

Raipur, Aug 18: Bhupesh Baghel, the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, on Friday, announced a financial aid package worth Rs 11 crores as a show of support for those in Himachal Pradesh who have been impacted by the torrential rains and landslides.

Baghel spoke with Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, on Thursday, according to an official statement. He assured that all required measures would be made and that the nation stands with the people of Himachal Pradesh during these trying times.

“On behalf of Chhattisgarh, I announce an aid amount of Rs 11 crore to help the people who are suffering due to heavy rains and landslides in Devbhoomi Himachal Pradesh. We all Chhattisgarhians stand with the people of Himachal and will collectively face the calamity and work for restoration of normalcy. We all pray to God to protect everyone,” Baghel said in a post on ‘X,’ formerly knowns as Twitter.

देवभूमि हिमाचल प्रदेश में भारी बारिश और भूस्खलन से आई विपदा की स्थिति में पीड़ित लोगों की मदद के लिए हम सब छत्तीसगढ़वासियों की ओर से 11 करोड़ रुपये की सहायता राशि की घोषणा करता हूँ।

हम सभी छत्तीसगढ़वासी हिमाचल के लोगों के साथ खड़े हैं और सामूहिक एकजुटता के साथ आपदा का सामना…
