RANCHI: The second phase of polling for the Jharkhand Assembly Election 2024 is underway today, with voting being conducted across 38 constituencies. Jharkhand Chief Secretary Alka Tiwari cast her vote at Booth No. 373 in Dhurwa, Ranchi, urging citizens to participate in the electoral process.

After casting her vote, Alka Tiwari emphasized the significance of voting and its role in shaping governance. Speaking to the media, she said, “Everyone should come out and vote. It is not only a right but also a responsibility. If you do not vote, you lose the moral ground to complain about the government you get.”

Tiwari also appealed to residents to step out of their homes and exercise their democratic rights. She added, “Your vote is your voice. Make it count by choosing the leadership you believe in.”

The polling process for the Khijri and Silli constituencies in Ranchi is also progressing smoothly. Voters are being encouraged to come forward and contribute to strengthening the democratic fabric of the state.
