Children sustain minor injuries as packed school bus overturns in Ramgarh

Ramgarh, June 17: A packed school bus of Ramprasad Chandrabhan Saraswati Shishu Mandir School, Ramgarh overturned on NH 23 near Ramgarh court on Friday morning. A total of 60 students were aboard out of which, many children sustained minor injuries.

As soon as the bus overturned, an atmosphere of panic prevailed at the spot of the incident. The local people took out all the children from the crashed bus.

Meanwhile, the driver and the helper of the bus fled from the spot. Children were brought to the school located near the Ramgarh Bazar committee in another school bus.

 

 

“The bus was at high speed. Suddenly, after the bus spring patti broke near the court, the bus overturned. The school bus has no fitness. A large number of parents reached the school and started creating a ruckus,” said a local people.

Parents said, “Even the tyre of the school bus is completely dilapidated.  It’s too old.”

Ramgarh police, who reached the spot after getting information, are trying to convince the angry parents by assuring them to take action against the school management.
