Jamshedpur, Feb 15: India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a forecast of clear weather in most districts of Jharkhand today.
“Weather would be mainly clear and dry with no major variations in minimum temperature during the next two days,” said a duty officer at IMD’s Ranchi Met Centre.
Statistics suggested that dry weather prevailed over the state during the past 24-hours. The highest maximum temperature of 30.7°C was recorded at Jamshedpur (MO) while the lowest minimum temperature of 7°C was recorded at Garhwa, indicated Met records.
Weathermen said there will be no large change in minimum temperature during the next 24 hours thereafter gradual rise by 4-5°C is expected during the subsequent three to four days.
Statistics suggested that several places including Ranchi, Daltonganj, Deoghar, Simdega, Ramgarh, Giridih, Garhwa and Bokaro experienced sub 10 chill wherein the minimum temperature notched less than 10 degree Celsius in the past 24- hours.
