CM hails veteran politician Saryu Roy while releasing book on him in assembly hall

Ranchi, Nov 25: People like MLA Saryu Roy has kept ‘Satyamev Jayte’ alive even today said Chief Minister Hemant Soren while the release of a book based on the biography of former state minister and current MLA Saryu Roy, ‘The People’s Leader’ in the assembly hall of Jharkhand.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that he has always been impressed by the thoughts and suggestions of Saryu Roy in the house and many have been influenced by his thought.

“Books written by Saryu Roy inspire the state government to move ahead with better management and the book ‘The People’s Leader’ written by Vivekanand Jha will give a better direction to the state in the coming times,” said CM

Praising the work of the author Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Rabindra Nath Mahto said that Saryu Rai has always done good work and never compromised with his policy and principle by adopting the path of Ekla Chalo. 

“He has never supported wrong people and certainly state government welcomes the suggestions given by him in matters related to the State interest and public interest,” Mahto said

Providing the detailed information of the book author Vivekanand Jha said that many unexplored aspects of personal, social, political life related to Saryu Roy have been depicted in the book. 

“From the year 1974, the student movement, role in Emergency, debut in politics, differences on various issues, role in exposing scams, many other incidents have been mentioned in this book,” Jha said

On this occasion, former Union Minister Subodh Kant Sahai, former MLA Radhakrishna Kishore, Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Rajiv Arun Ekka, Secretary to Chief Minister Vinay Kumar Choubey, Director of Prabhat Publications Piyush Kumar and other authors were present.
