Ranchi: On Monday, Chief Minister Hemant Soren and MLA Kalpana Soren released the book Baba Baidyanath Jyotirling Deoghar: A Touch of the Divine, authored by Advocate General Rajiv Ranjan, at the Jharkhand Assembly. The 300-page book elaborates on the historical, mythological, religious, cultural, and legal significance of the revered Baidyanath Jyotirlinga in Deoghar.

The publication captures the timeless relevance of Baba Baidyanath Jyotirlinga, one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites in India. It dives into its deep historical roots, spiritual importance, and enduring cultural connections that make Deoghar a significant religious destination. By exploring both ancient traditions and legal aspects, the book provides readers with a holistic perspective on the Jyotirlinga.

Event Attendees

The book launch was attended by several dignitaries including Avinash Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary to the CM, Advocate General Rajiv Ranjan, Secretary Arwa Rajkamal, Senior Private Secretary to CM Sunil Srivastava, Additional Advocate General Achyut Keshav, and State Counsel Manoj Kumar. Their presence reflected the importance of the event as both a cultural and institutional acknowledgment of Jharkhand’s heritage.
