Ranchi, Oct 29: Chief Minister Hemant Soren appreciated the working style of Jharkhand police in the COVID-19 phase during the passing out ceremony of 6 trainee DSPs and 482 wireless operators at the parade ground of Jharkhand Armed Police-2, Tatisilway on Friday.
Addressing the passing out ceremony, the CM said that the responsibility of internal security of the state is on the shoulders of the police forces.
During this, the CM also rewarded 1 DSP and 21 wireless operators who excelled in the post-training examination.
Before the ceremony, the Chief Minister laid a wreath at the martyr memorial of the Government of Jharkhand at JAP-2.
The Chief Minister said that the role of the police force is important in resolving the problems that exist in the interior of the state. They will be able to use the things they have learned in this training very well.
In basic training, they were trained in various types of law, human rights, law and order settlement, cybercrime, disaster management, operation and drill of state-of-the-art weapons.
The CM expressed confidence that all the trainees would make full use of the various subjects taught in the DSP and Wireless Operator training in performing their duties.
“A total of 166 women are among the trainee DSPs and wireless operators which shows the strength of women empowerment,” the CM said.
Principal Secretary Rajiv Arun Ekka said that the training of all trainee DSPs and wireless operators is being completed today and everyone will join their duty from today.
“From today you all are an important part of the police family and I have full confidence that all of you will take full care of the discipline and rules and regulations taught during the training in your duty,” Ekka said.
