Ramgarh, Nov.27: On the occasion of the 64th Martyrdom Day of Shaheed Sobran Manjhi, Chief Minister of Jharkhand Hemant Soren and former CM Shibu Soren reached the Lukaiah Tand in Gola on Saturday.
They first paid tribute at the ‘Shahadat’ site and later distributed many assets among beneficiaries. Earlier, CM Hemant Soren also received a guard of honor.
A tight security arrangement was made here for the arrival of the Chief Minister. Ramgarh Deputy Commissioner (DC) Madhavi Mishra and Superintendent of Police (SSP) Prabhat Kumar were present on the spot along with other officials.
On this occasion, the CM distributed assets worth Rs 5 crore under JSLPS. 5 cows were distributed under the ‘Pashu Dhan Yojana’. He also distributed some assets under the ‘Phulo Jhano scheme’.
CM Soren, on the occasion, said that Jharkhand has immense employment opportunities. Villagers should engage in self-employment by rearing eggs in poultry. The government is ready to buy its goods. It is also providing pension to all the people above 60 years, differently-abled people, giving loans for employment generation, fish farming etc. So, people should take advantage of the schemes.
“We are proud that the blood of such martyred people is in our veins, due to which we are able to help people. The same vein and effect is that the government is distributing assets here today,” the CM said.
