Compensation provided to dependents of road accident victims in Patratu

Ramgarh, Oct 8: After the death of six people in a road accident at Hehal of Patratu area in Ramgarh district on Wednesday, Deputy Commissioner of Ramgarh said that the dependents of the deceased were compensated through the State Disaster Response Fund on Saturday.

Working at a fast pace in the light of instructions, after completing all the procedures by the district administration on Saturday, the Circle Officer of Patratu Shiv Shankar Pandey, the deceased Alimun Nisha of Hehal area under Patratu block and the deceased Tariq Jameel’s dependent/ entitled Mustakim Ansari was handed over a certificate related to payment of compensation amounting to a total of Rs 2 lakh, the same was handed over by him to the deceased Sajda Khatoon of Rochap village of Palu area under Patratu block and Mohammad Sabir Ansari, the dependent/ entitled Mohammad Sabir Ansari of the deceased Sanaul Ansari. A certificate regarding payment of an amount of Rs 2 lakh was provided.

Giving information in this regard, the Deputy Commissioner, Ramgarh, Madhavi Mishra said that after coming to the notice of the tragic loss of six people in a road accident in Hehal area of Patratu block on Wednesday, the officials immediately send the dependents of the deceased.

It was directed to provide compensation amount, under which compensation has been paid to a total of 4 out of 6 dependents/entitlements, while the remaining 2 dependents of the deceased will also be paid compensation soon after completing all the procedures.
