Dhanbad, May 26: Jharkhand State Congress in-charge Avinash Pandey has taken serious note of growing indiscipline in the party and directed to take action against such leaders and workers speaking on internal organization matters on a public platform.

State Congress Disciplinary Committee chairman cum Jharkhand unit vice-president Brajendra Prasad Singh after a meeting with Avinash Pande in New Delhi, today said that following the directive, the disciplinary committee of all 24 districts has been asked to keep a close eye on leaders and workers who violate the party discipline on a public platform so that action could be initiated against them.

Notably, dissension in the Congress party has spilled onto the streets since the new president has been installed in different districts of the state.  Dissident leaders and workers have been protesting and even burning effigies of their leaders in Ranchi, Dhanbad, Dumka, Bokaro and other districts openly.

“It has been found that some leaders are making comments on organizational matters, party as well as top leaders on public platforms such as social media, print media and electronic media. It is against the party constitution and an act of indiscipline which can’t be accepted at any cost. So, Pande directed us to take action against such leaders for strengthening the organization,” said Brajendra  Prasad Singh, who is also senior vice-president of the state committee.

Singh said if any leader or worker has any grievance from the party or its official he or she should keep it on a proper platform in the organization. But any comment in social media, electronic channels or print media against party organization would be considered indiscipline and would invite action.
