New Delhi, Dec 9: Congress representatives met with Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar of Himachal Pradesh on Friday in Shimla. According to the sources, they provided the list of Congress MLAs to demonstrate their ability to establish the state’s government.
At Raj Bhawan, the governor was greeted by the Himachal Pradesh Congress’s in-charge Rajiv Shukla, party observers Bhupesh Baghel, and BS Hooda.

The chief minister has not yet been chosen by the Congress. To declare the chief minister, the party observers Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Bhupesh Baghel, and state in-charge Rajiv Shukla are meeting with the party MLAs.
Soon after the election results were announced on Thursday, Jairam Thakur resigned as chief minister. He stated that several ‘problems’ affected the outcomes’ trajectory.
