Daltonganj, Oct 2: Associate professor in the department of surgery Dr R D Nagesh is now the acting principal of the Medinirai medical college at Pokhraha in Daltonganj.

This arrangement has come into effect following the retirement of the previous principal Dr Shailendra Kumar who superannuated on September 30.

Dr R D Nagesh speaking to lagatar24. com said “I am just a stop gap principal of this medical college.” Dr Nagesh said the retiring principal Dr Shailendra Kumar handed over the charge to him and he took it over immediately.

Finding a principal of the Medinirai medical college at Pokhraha in Daltonganj will not be any easy task for the state health department following ill reputation of Palamu district as well as medical college’s own deficiencies in terms of faculty and infrastructural facilities.
