Daltonganj, March 28: Police in Daltonganj today conducted a flag march ahead of the mass festival Ramnavami.

The flag march was led by Assistant Superintendent of Police and SDPO Rishabha Garg and SDO sadar Rajesh Kumar Sah.

The flag march covered 5 km of the town and touched nearly half a dozen of the temples and mosques falling in the march route.

Rishabha Garg said, “We conducted our flag march on the same route through which the Ramnavami processions take place. We saw everything as well as the houses and their locations.”

“The flag march was conducted as part of the confidence building measure where we found excitement and curiosity among the people watching us from the rooftops,” added Garg.
