New Delhi, July 28: The forthcoming biopic of a comedic singer “Weird Al” Yankovic, starring British actor Daniel Radcliffe, now has a release date; starting on November 4, 2022, it will stream on Roku.
According to Fox News, the streamer posted the movie’s poster on its Instagram account, which included an image of Radcliffe facing away from the camera, dressed in crimson, holding an accordion by his side.
The caption read, “Daniel Radcliffe is WEIRD. Stream #WEIRDTheAlYankovicStory free on November 4. Only on The Roku Channel.”
The radio host Dr. Demento played by Rain Wilson, Evan Rachel Wood as Madonna, and Quinta Bruson as Oprah Winfrey also appear in the movie. The movie also features Toby Huss and Julianne Nicholson as Yankovic’s parents. Yankovic collaborated on the writing of the biopic with Eric Appel, who also served as the movie’s director, and was heavily involved in its production.
