Deoghar administration beefs up security for President’s visit

Deoghar, May 23: Regular mock drills are being done and barricading has been done ahead of President Droupadi Murmu’s visit. Adequate forces and executive magistrates have been deployed. No one can fly a drone without getting permission from the concerned authority for two days. The route line from the airport to Baba Baidyanath Dham Temple and its surrounding area has been declared a red zone and SP Subhash Chandra Jat has issued directions regarding this.

Roads are being repaired and unnecessary breakers have been removed. Also, vendors have been displaced from the route through which the President has to move.

The general public will not be allowed to worship from 6 am till the departure of the President.

The district administration held a meeting and took the account of preparedness in the Circuit House Deoghar yesterday. The meeting was attended by ADG Sanjay Anand Latkar, secretaries Amitabh Kaushal and Manish Ranjan also attended the meeting along with Deoghar DC Manjunath Bhajantri, SP Subhash Chandra Jatt,  CEO Shailendra Lal and other officers.

Notably, this is the third time President Droupadi Murmu is coming to Deoghar and the first time after being elected President.
