Ranchi, Feb.17: The Director General Civil Aviation (DGCA) has issued notices to landlords of seven buildings around Deoghar airport to demolish structures above prescribed height within 15 days.
The DGCA informed this on Friday to the Jharkhand High Court, which was hearing a petition concerning delay in night landing facility at Deoghar airport. The DGCA informed the court regarding the steps taken by it for starting night landing facility.
The DGCA said if the structure is not demolished, further decisions will be taken on the basis of a report of the office in-charge of Deoghar Airport.
The court after directing the DGCA to expedite the work deferred hearing in the matter till March 3.
