Deoghar, Aug 17: Another case of criminals following customers, who withdraw money from the bank, surfaced in Deoghar today.

The incident took place around 12.30 pm between Sant Francis school and the petrol pump on Jasidih-Deoghar main road under Jasidih police station. After snatching the bag containing Rs one lakh belonging to Rakesh Tiwari, a resident of Saket Vihar, the criminals disappeared.

Rakesh was coming from Jasidih to Deoghar in an auto after withdrawing Rs one lakh cash from the State Bank branch located in the market.

Describing the incident, the victim said that he was sitting in the auto when suddenly a bike came near and one of the persons on it snatched the bag that he kept with himself and fled away.

After receiving the complaint, the local police are retrieving the footage stored in the DVR of CCTV fixed in the bank from where he withdrew the cash.

Notably, three snatching incidents, in the same manner, have occurred within a month here but all miscreants are still out of police reach.
