Deoghar: One dies, six sustain injuries in road mishap

Deoghar, Sept 5: A woman was killed and six others were injured during a road mishap that took place at Khijuria of Mohan Pur police station area on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Mina Devi (55), a native of Supaul Bihar.

The incident occurred while she was getting off a bus when a Bolero ran over her. After hitting six others, the driver of the vehivle managed to flee away from the spot. His vehicle has been seized by the police. The injured persons have been brought to Deoghar Sadar Hospital and are undergoing treatment.

The Injured people have been identified as Kriti Nand Sada (60) from Supaul, Ram puri Devi (55) from Saharsa ,Shila Devi (50) from Madhubani and her grandson Rishi (6). All had boarded the same bus which was traveling from Sultan Ganj to Deoghar. The incident took place as soon as they got off the bus.
