Deployment of PG pass-out doctors: Jamshedpur gets lion’s share

Dhanbad, Oct 31: Sadar Hospital Jamshedpur got a lion’s share in the deployment of postgraduate (PG) pass-out doctors leaving Dhanbad and Palamu Sadar Hospitals behind.

The state health department has deployed 139 PG pass-out doctors of RIMS Ranchi and MGMMCH Jamshedpur at different Sadar Hospitals of various districts for three years under the bond of PG professionals. Though the government had deployed them as senior residents at five medical colleges of the state, their deputation has been done at Sadar Hospitals.

As per the notification issued by the Under Secretary, Ajay Kumar Singh, among 139 PG doctors, Jamshedpur has got the highest  13 doctors followed by Dhanbad and Palamu with 12 doctors each.

A senior official of the state health department said that now the doctor’s deficiency at Sadar Hospitals across the state has been sorted out.

The doctors who have been deployed in various districts are-

Medicine-  Dr Shreya Singh  Sadar Hospital Jamshedpur, Dr Divya Jyoti (Bokaro), Dr Anil Kumar Choudhary ( Giridih), Dr Zobia Farheen ( Deoghar), Dr Rahul Nair ( Ramgarh), Subham Moitra (Koderma), Dr  Md Amish Shikoh (Dhanbad), Dr Aninda Choudhary ( Khunti), Dr Himanshu Shekhar ( Palamu), Dr Shimpy Priya (Dhanbad), Dr Sudhanshu Subrat (Simdega),  Dr Mayank Mahajan (Jamtara), Dr Vimukta Pradhan (Jamshedpur), Dr Praveen Kumar Solanki (Dumka).
