Dhanbad, Feb 2: The Association of Physicians of India (API) and Indian College of Physicians (ICP) have jointly published the book ‘Covid Monography’ which is edited by the eminent physician of Jharkhand Dr NK Singh during the three-day annual national conference of API concluded at Ahmedabad on January 29.
The eminent endocrinologist of the country Padma Shri Dr Alka Deshpandey of Mumbai released the book and highly appreciated Dr NK Singh of Jharkhand for editing such type of book on Covid while the entire globe is affected by this infection.
The ACP/API monograph on Covid-19 is an authenticated resource on relevant topics concerningCovid-19. The API official said although Covid related information keeps changing fast, in this book some basic science has been validated.
Dr NK Singh, who is also chairman of the API Jharkhand chapter, also addressed the API national annual conference on the topic of ‘How the future is unfolding for diabetes’ and shed light on his research. He drew high appreciation from API for working on national-level research in the interest of physicians as well as the public.
The prominent diabetologist Dr NK Singh is also the editor of CME India in which more than a thousand national and international repute physicians are members and they share their experiences daily on the current medical affairs on the group platform (CME India). He is also chairman of the Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI) Jharkhand chapter.
Members of the API Jharkhand chapter in Jamshedpur, Ranchi and Dhanbad have congratulated Dr Singh on the publication of his Covid Monograph by the API national body.
