Jamshedpur, Aug 18: Train services in South Eastern Railway’s Chakradharpur division would remain affected on August 20, Friday due to traffic-cum- power block.

The  traffic-cum-power block for the launching of a  foot overbridge at Damodar and Burnpur stations in Adra-Asansol section of  South Eastern Railway’s Adra division would continue for about four hours from 10 am.  Several trains would be rescheduled.

The  Danapur-Tatanagar Special ( 08184) will be rescheduled to leave Danapur at  8:11 am instead of 5.46 am on August 20.

Railway officials said the movement of several passenger trains in Chakradharpur division would be affected on that day.

Moreover, in view of two other similar traffic-cum-power blocks for the launching of a foot overbridge at Indrabil station and at Chandrakona Road Station in Adra-Midnapur section of Adra division several passenger trains would see detention.

The NSC Bose Gomoh-Kharagpur MEMU Special ( 08024) which goes via Tatanagar will be leaving NSC Bose  Gomoh on Friday and detained in the section between Jhantipahari-Chandrakona Road for one hour.

The railways have started making announcements through the public address system in different stations of Chakradharpur about the disruption in train services.
