Ranchi, Feb. 23: BJP state president and Rajya Sabha MP Deepak Prakash today attacked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi a day after the latter addressing a Chintan Shivir of the Congress party workers at Madhuban in Giridih online alleged the BJP of imposing the ideology of the RSS in Jharkhand.
Prakash said that the Congress party is a sinking ship. He said division of the country for power, loot, corruption and scam besides murder of democracy, insult to the constitutional institutions, casteism, communalism, terrorism, appeasement for vote bank and dynastism are in the DNA of Congress.
He said that the DNA of the entire country including Jharkhand is against the DNA of Congress, which Congress leader Rahul Gandhi does not understand.
He said that those who sold the Jharkhand movement do not have the moral right to speak in Jharkhand. If there is any party responsible for poverty, backwardness, displacement, migration in Jharkhand, then it is the Congress party, he said.
Defending the ideology of the BJP, the BJP state chief said that the ideology of the Sangh and the BJP is the same as the ideology of Bhagwan Birsa Munda and martyr Sido-Kanhu. These great men fought against the British rule to save the culture, tradition, customs of Jharkhand, he said.
Exposing the Congress party’s neglecting attitude towards Jharkhand, the BJP leader said: “The people of the state know how attempts were made to erase the cultural identity of Jharkhand under the patronage of Congress power. How the tribal society here was broken from its culture by giving greed. Efforts were made to erase identity with the loot of water, forest, land.”
“It is the ideology of the Sangh and the BJP which emphasized on development of all and did not appease anyone. By creating a separate tribal ministry for the development of tribals, it was Atal ji himself that took a meaningful initiative to bring the tribal society into the mainstream of rapid development. It is the thinking of the BJP government to form the state on the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa and declare it Tribal Pride Day across the country. The BJP government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, is continuously conferring Padma awards on those who enhance the cultural identity of Jharkhand. Only the BJP can fulfill its resolution to take the state to the first stage of development while saving the cultural identity of Jharkhand,” Prakash said.
