Jamshedpur, Nov 3: IMD’s Ranchi Met Centre issued a forecast of dry weather in Jharkhand for the next 72- hours.

“The passing western disturbance from the northern parts of the country will not have any impact on Jharkhand. Weather condition over the state would be mainly clear and dry in the next three days,” said Abhishek Anand, head of Ranchi Meteorological Centre.

According to him, no significant synoptic features was prevailing over Jharkhand today , indicated the chart analysis and satellite imagery.

Weathermen also went on to say that it will take some time for winter’s complete onset in Jharkhand.

” The fluctuating wind pattern is preventing winter’s onset over the state . A complete winter is declared when northerly winds dominate over the state and the minimum temperature drops below 13 degree Celsius, ” explained a weather official at IMD’s Ranchi office.

Met statistics reveal that the minimum temperature was hovering between 16 and 18 degree Celsius in most places across Jharkhand during the past 48- hours.
