Earthquake in Arunachal Pradesh, measures 4.5 on Richter scale

Itanagar, Sept.25: Earthquake tremors were felt in Arunachal Pradesh today. The magnitude of the earthquake was measured at 4.5 on the Richter scale. People felt these tremors in Pangin town at around 10.11 am. People came out of their homes out of fear. No damage has been reported so far.

According to media reports, from January 1 to December 31 last year, a total of about 965 earthquakes occurred in many areas of the country including Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, New Delhi, which is a very big figure. Surprisingly, 13 tremors were felt in the capital New Delhi and NCR region. All had an intensity greater than three on the Richter scale.
