Chennai, Sept 12: In connection with a case involving money laundering in the sand mining sector, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted searches at 30 locations in Tamil Nadu on Tuesday, officials stated.
Officials were carrying out searches at the premises of individuals in Chennai, Pudukottai, and Dindigul.
The searches were being carried out on individuals associated with the sand mafia and contractors, with the application of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
