First-ever National Training Conclave inaugurated by PM Modi in Delhi

New Delhi, June 11: At the International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Delhi’s Pragati Maidan on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially opened the first-ever National Training Conclave.

Representatives from civil services training institutes from across the country took part in the Conclave.

It was hosted by the Capacity Building Commission with the aim of promoting cooperation amongst civil service training institutions and bolstering the nationwide training infrastructure for civil servants.

The conclave was attended by more than 1500 representatives from training institutions, including Central Training Institutes, State Administrative Training Institutes, Regional and Zonal Training Institutes and Research Institutes.

According to an official statement, specialists from the private sector and civil servants from state, local and central government departments also participated in the deliberations.

“This diverse gathering will foster the exchange of ideas, identify the challenges being faced and opportunities available, and generate actionable solutions and comprehensive strategies for capacity building,” the statement states.

The conclave featured eight panel talks, each of which addressed important issues effecting Civil services training institutions, including faculty development, training impact assessment and content digitisation.
