New Delhi, Nov 18: Farooq Abdullah, former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir resigned as leader of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) party on Friday.
“My health doesn’t permit me to lead the party now,” addressing his party workers in Srinagar, the JKNC patron said.
On December 5, the new party president is to be elected with party vice-president and former J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah being the likely successor.
