Four cybercriminals arrested in Deoghar

Deoghar, April 6: Deoghar police on Thursday arrested four cyber criminals from areas of two different police stations of the district.

In a press conference, Deoghar police informed that all the criminals were arrested during the raid, from Kudu Bangla under the Madhur police station area and from Mishra Tand under the MargoMunda police station area.

The arrested cyber criminals were identified as Jamuriddin Ansari (35) and Ali Hussain Ansari (34) sons of Sayud Miayan, Md Gaffur (35), son of Md Gulam and Akhtar Ansari alis Charka (32), son of Sabbir Miayan. As per the Deoghar police, three of them are from the village of Marani and one is from Mishra Tand.

Eight mobile handsets,12 fake SIM cards, 11 ATM cards, 1 Bank Cheque Book, 2 bikes and Rs 23500 cash have been recovered from them.

Notably, they have been charged for providing fake bank accounts and ATMs from West Bengal to cybercriminals. During the investigation a number of crime links surfaced with the SIM and IMEI numbers of handsets.
