Ramgarh, Mar 25: The 23rd National Sub-Junior Fencing Competition organized by Chhattisgarh State Fencing Association will start from 25th March.
This competition will be held in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh from 25th to 28th March.
The Jharkhand team was announced for this national competition. Four players from the Ramgarh district have been selected for this team.
Nandini Kumari is included in the 8-member girls’ team of Jharkhand.
In the boys’ category, Ritesh Kumar-Ichakdih, Krish Paswan-Ghato Bazartand and Rishiraj who are students of Holy Cross School Ghato where he learned fencing from his initial coach Sanjay Rajwar and gave his best performance in the state-level competition.

Rakesh Kumar Mishra, the general secretary of Ramgarh District Fencing Association and joint secretary of Jharkhand State Fencing Association, said that the Jharkhand team left for Raigarh. State players have also been selected to participate in it.
The players selected from Ramgarh are all residents of Kedla and Ghato.
Celina Sangeeta Beck, Principal of Holycross School and Surendra Nath Mahato, Principal of Orion School, Ramesh Kumar, Principal of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar School and their school management showed support to the players.
On their selection, district union chairman BB Sudhir Kumar, chief patron Jharkhand Mukti Morcha district president Vinod Kisku, union women convener Kirti Gaurav, Girdhari Mahto, Devnandan Rajwar, Randhir Singh, Rajendra Prasad, Anil Singh and others congratulated the players.
