Four roads in Ranchi to be repaired at cost of 11 crores

Ranchi: Renovation plans of four major roadways in the capital city are underway. The Department of Road Construction has issued a tender to improve these  roads’ riding quality. Before Dussehra, a deadline has been set to restore these roads. During the rainy season, all of the roads are destroyed. Many little and large craters have appeared in various locations. The department has now decided to improve the road’s ride condition. After all the roads’ tenders are finalised, the work will begin soon.

At a cost of Rs 3.54 crore, Hazaribagh Road will be extended to 3.70 kilometres. The 1.83-kilometer road between RIMS Electricity Office and Cheshire Home-Joda Talab Road will cost Rs. 1.11 crore to construct. The 3.57-kilometer route connecting Chandni Chowk Hatia to Ring Road Tonko Toli will cost 2.41 crores to construct. And the Bundu-Sonahatu-Jamudag-Jaria Missing Path  which is 5.80-kilometer in length will cost 3.74 crores to construct.
