Dhanbad, Aug 23: The people of Giridih will get a direct train to Ranchi from next month.
The East Central Railway (ECR) zone has decided to run a mail express train (03309) from New Giridih railway station to Ranchi railway station from next month.
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (DCM) cum chief public relations officer of Dhanbad rail division today said that the New Giridih-Ranchi mail express train would be inaugurated on September 12.
The train (03309) would kick start from New Giridih railway station at 10 am on September 12 and become regular from September 13.
After starting from New Giridih Station, the train will stop at Jamua, Dhanbawar, Maheshpur halt, Koderma, Hazaribagh Town, Barkakana, Mesra, Tatisilvey and the final station at Ranchi.
