Hazaribag, April.28: Deputy Commissioner Nancy Sahay along with the DCs of Seraikela-Kharsawan, Bokaro and Palamu today attended the Chintan Shivir organised by NITI Aayog for aspirational districts at Dr Ambedkar International Bhavan, New Delhi.
Block development officers of Chatra, Mayurhund, Dumka, Jarmundi, Garhwa, Manjhion, Giridih, Jamua, Ranchi and Mandar also participated in this programme.
Representing the aspirational district Hazaribagh, Sahay presented a detailed description of the administrative work done in the field of Jal Jeevan Mission and Swachh Bharat Mission. During this, she presented the success story of Nawada of Vishnugarh block on the topic of Our four-model approach from ODF to ODF+.
Sahay apprised all about the latest situation while stating the goals of the Jal Jeevan Mission under drinking water supply. She said that under the Jal Jeevan Mission, one lakh four thousand eight hundred and ninety-two houses of the district have been covered under the Har Ghar Nal Har Ghar Jal Yojana, which is 31.41 per cent of the total target. She said work in this regard is going on war footing. Sahay also shared information about the works of Hazaribagh regarding the Swachh Bharat Mission.
