Hazaribag: Two houses in Katkamdag block robbed during Chhath

Hazaribag, Oct 31: Two houses in Nawada village of Katkamdag block have reported of robbery on Monday. Notably, the incident took place when families of said houses were visiting other regions to celebrate Chhath.

Sources said that Manoj Saw went to his ancestral house to celebrate Chhath in the same village. When he returned to his new house at Kapsia Mor in the morning, he came to know of the theft. Thieves seem to have taken all valuables and household items worth Rs10 lakh.

Another theft was reported in the house of Sudama Saw where thieves took cash and other valuables. The family is yet to estimate the value of the stolen items.

Getting information about two thefts, Katkamdag police reached the spot and started an investigation. They assured both households that thieves would soon be caught.
