Hazaribag, Nov 13: Around 1200 students of Angels High, Little Angels and Delhi Public School (DPS) jointly performed during the Parents Night – 2022 on Saturday.
Chief guest Superintendent of Police Manoj Ratan Chauthe said that he has given 13 years to Jharkhand during his service as an IPS officer but had never seen such a grand and professionally coordinated programme anywhere in the state. He further said such programmes need the time to brush up on the talent and personality of each student. School management led by its director Nisha Jaiswal welcomed all guests on the occasion.
MLA Manish Jaiswal, his father and former Zila Parishad chairman Braj Kishore Jaiswal and social worker Shradhanand Singh were also present on the occasion.
Students on the occasion presented a prayer dance and various other performances. The students also presented plays which gave messages related to social issues including the story of Mogli in Jungle Book and the story of the abduction of Sita in Ramayana.
Children between the age group of 3-4 participated in a fashion show in traditional outfits. The performances by students further shared the message of equality by presenting the story of the third gender.
The school management said that all preparation for this programme including sound mixing, audio recording, choreography, and scripting was done by 250 teachers from all three schools. Notably, practices took a month to perfect the performances.
Director Nisha Jaiswal said, “It is hard work of all that the school is excelling in educational and co-curricular activities as well. We are committed to the overall development of each and every student.”
