Hazaribagh, Nov 20: DAV students performed well at the Kala Utsav 2022 organised by the district administration, under the aegis of the Jharkhand Education Project Hazaribagh.

The aim of the programme is to recognise the artistic talent of the students, and their development and promote art in education. Winners will participate in the state-level festival to be held in Ranchi.

Those selected include Rudramani for classical singing, Shruti Kumari for folk music, Omkar for instrumental music, Saumya Soni for classical dance and Adya Aakriti for visual art. The selected students will visit Ranchi to participate in the two-day state-level art festival, which will be held on November 22 and 23.

Principal Ashok Kumar has given the credit for this success to the dedication of the children and the hard work of the teachers. He said that along with studies, artistic and cultural interest helps in making the personality of the children balanced and holistic. He further mentioned and appreciated the children’s mentor and music teachers Vijay Kumar Dubey and Apoorva Vardiyar.
