Hazaribagh: MP Jayant Sinha to organise football tournament in September

Ramgarh, Aug 31: Hazaribagh MP and Chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance Jayant Sinha is going to organise a grand football tournament in the name of ‘Amrit Trophy’ for the youth of Hazaribagh parliamentary constituency.

The MP announced this today at Curzon Ground in Hazaribagh. The tournament will be launched by the end of September in collaboration with NTPC, Tata Steel and Fantasy Arena.

Under this tournament, more than 400 teams from Panchayats of 5 assemblies of Hazaribagh Parliamentary Constituency and 100 teams from other regions of Jharkhand will participate.

Around 9,000-10,000 players will get an opportunity to show their talent during this tournament which will be organized for 30 days on 11 grounds.

MP Jayant Sinha on the occasion said, “Effort has always been made to promote sports and sportspersons in the region. We have organized sports events many times in the past in which the players have got better platform and facilities.”
