Ranchi: Following the demise of Education Minister Ramdas Soren, Chief Minister Hemant Soren will now hold the additional responsibility of the School Education and Literacy Department as well as the Registration Department. The Cabinet Secretariat and Coordination Department has issued an official order confirming the transfer of responsibilities.

The notification, signed by Cabinet Secretary Vandana Dadel, states that a partial amendment has been made in the allocation of work among ministers. It specifies that apart from the departments already assigned to him, Chief Minister Hemant Soren will now also oversee the School Education and Literacy Department and the Registration Department.
