Ranchi, Feb 28: In view of Lalu Prasad’s complaint of toothache, the second sitting of the Root Canal Treatment (RCT) of his tooth was completed today.
Given Lalu’s ill health, he is being treated by the team of RIMS Medical Board.
The security of RIMS was increased by the Bariatu police station on Monday morning. Lalu was taken to the dental department by ambulance where the process of RCT was completed.
As soon as he got relief from the toothache, Lalu told the doctors that now he is feeling fine.
On February 24, the first sitting of Lalu’s RCT was done. The doctors of the dental department called again today after three days. RCT of the molar teeth (CHH) of his right side was done. After which Lalu’s tooth has been saved from decay.
Next week, the cap will be put on the teeth. At the same time, the measurement of three lower teeth of the left side has also been taken. The doctors treating Lalu said that if he wants, he can get the teeth replaced.
The doctor said that he has to take the food prescribed by the dietician. It is forbidden for him to take any hard food item.
Dr Ajay Shahi and Dr Buta Venkatesh, doctors of the dental department were involved in Lalu’s treatment.
Lalu Prasad has been sentenced to 5 years in the case of illegal withdrawal from Doranda treasury and is presently admitted in the paying ward of the RIMS.
