Malti Choudhary from DWA Ramgarh also joined the session to encourage all the participants.
“We discussed the adolescent girls’ health issues with the doctors and noted important suggestions they gave us. They educated the girls and other participants about proper disposal of used sanitary napkins and maintenance of menstrual hygiene, proper covid behaviour, hand hygiene, anemia, good and bad touch and proper nutrition. Use of sanitary pads, iron tabs and albendazole were elaborately discussed in the meeting,” said Dr. Arya.
The best part of the online webinar was the enthusiasm and alertness with which the participant girls and ladies, from far off villages showed while they attended the session. They were online all the time and asked questions to the doctors.
“We from, Mission Pink Health, are committed to conduct such sessions in each and every district of Jharkhand with help of enthusiastic doctors there,” the organisers said.
