Ramgarh, Oct 16: The installation ceremony for the new session was organized in the Indian Medical Association’s Ramgarh branch in the auditorium of Hotel Treat on Saturday evening. The ceremony was inaugurated by lighting the lamp jointly by Chief Guest Civil Surgeon Ramgarh Dr. Prabhat Kumar and special guest Dr. Amol Shinde, Surveillance Medical Officer, WHO.
There was an exchange of posts after the inauguration. In addition, the officers and executive members of the new session were honored by the chief guest with certificates and medals. In the program, Association President Dr. Mahalaxmi Prasad and Secretary Dr. Thakur Mrityunjay Kumar Singh said that the current session of the Indian Medical Association would work to provide quality health facilities to every citizen of the society.

At the same time, the duo said that for this IMA needs a building of its own. They informed that Ramgarh is the only district out of 24 districts of Jharkhand state, where IMA does not have any building of its own. Dr Amol Shinde, Surveillance Medical Officer of the World Health Organization said about the surveillance of vaccination and preventable diseases by vaccination and appealed to make people aware about it.
