Ramgarh, April 6: The Ramgarh unit of IMA has felicitated RIMS Director Dr Kameshwar Prasad at a function on Wednesday.
IMA office bearer Dr Mahalakshmi Prasad, on this occasion, said that Dr Kameshwar Prasad (Neurologist) has gained fame not only in the country but also abroad in the field of medicine. “We, doctors, are proud of him,” she added.
While addressing the doctors during the felicitation ceremony, expressing gratitude, Dr Prasad said that patients consider doctors as another form of God. Because of this, doctors should also treat patients with dedicated service, he added.
During the ceremony, he informed the doctors about the symptoms related to neuro disease. He said that treatment of neurological diseases is mostly possible only in the initial stage. Neurological diseases are usually characterized by speech differences, physical imbalance, stiffness in the body, weakness, memory loss, difficulty in getting up, walking, body tremors, muscle stiffness, difficulty in swallowing, etc.
IMA Secretary Dr Thakur Mrityunjay Kumar Singh and RIMS Eye Department HOD Dr Rajeev Gupta were among others present on the occasion.
