Jamshedpur, May 30: A few isolated places over Jharkhand would experience light rain and thunderstorm activity today, said weathermen today.
Some places might also experience gusty wind blowing at a speed of 40- 50 Kmph.
IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre also predicted a two to three degree Celsius rise in the next 48- hours.
Satellite pictures suggested a cyclonic circulation hovering over southeast Gangetic West Bengal at 0.9 Km above the mean sea level.
Light rainfall with thunderstorms occurred at isolated places during the past 24 hours.
Meteorological statistics suggested that except for a few places in north-western and southern Jharkhand, the day’s reading notched below 40 degrees Celsius in most districts during the past 24- hours.
