Jamshedpur, Sept 2:  Several isolated places over Jharkhand are expected to experience thundershowers and lightning for the next two days till September 4, Monday, said a weather bulletin issued by IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre.

Weathermen ruled out heavy rain in next few days as monsoon has become weak over Jharkhand.

Several places, including Jamshedpur, Ghatshila, Khunti, Simdega and adjoining Seraikela-Kharsawan district late last night experienced thundershowers accompanied by lightning.

Today, cloud cover was witnessed at several places in southern and central Jharkhand.

The monsoon trough at mean sea level continues to run along the foothills of the Himalayas.

The cyclonic circulation was today lying over Northeast Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood extending upto 4.5 Km above mean sea level tilting south-westwards with height.
