International Table Tennis Day celebrated at Ramgarh

Ramgarh, April 6: International Table Tennis Day was celebrated on Thursday at Shri Agrasen School, Bhurkunda.  The table tennis competition organized on this occasion witnessed fierce competition among four house teams.

Earlier, the event was jointly inaugurated by the chief guest MICA Educational Director Sanjay Jain, School Director Praveen Rajgarhia and Principal Vivek Kumar Pradhan.

Encouraging the participants, Jain said that students must take interest in one or the other sports.  Sports are nothing less than a boon for our physical fitness and mental strength, he added.

Director Rajgarhia said that any sport inspires us to achieve our goals while being disciplined.

Principal Vivek Kumar Pradhan said that this day is celebrated with the aim of making table tennis popular all over the world.  Very few places in our area have facilities for this game.  That’s why the school management is providing the facility of table tennis to the students, he added.
