When I see the happiness, you know my family, they stay in Gujarat and the kind of pride I see in their eyes, that means a lot. Great opportunity for me as well. This is going to be a learning curve for me,” Hardik Pandya said on the name of the team.

The franchise will be led by Hardik Pandya, while Vikram Solanki has been appointed as Ahmedabad`s Director of Cricket. Gary Kirsten will act as the Ahmedabad franchise’s batting coach and mentor, while Ashish Nehra has been named head coach.
